Good point.To make the brushes/bearings last any time at all,you need to keep the RPMs under control.When farm tractors run all day long,that adds up fast in wear and tear. I'm running a stock size pulley (not the large oem generator pulley though)on my 10SI and it charges at idle no problem at all.Of course the 300U doesnt run for hours at a time either....
