Hi Guys,

Was reading all the opinions about the size of the pullys on the delcotrons and just thought I'd add that IH put huge pulleys on the things from the factory.

I've never seen a small pulley on a tractor delcotron, probably because that crank pulley is so large to start with.

Good point.To make the brushes/bearings last any time at all,you need to keep the RPMs under control.When farm tractors run all day long,that adds up fast in wear and tear.
I'm running a stock size pulley (not the large oem generator pulley though)on my 10SI and it charges at idle no problem at all.Of course the 300U doesnt run for hours at a time either....
