WayneR, Like to recommend some kind of backer like 1/2" bar stock to go between the forks on your puller and the back flange of the pulley. You run a big risk of knocking out a chunk of the pulley without using something back there to "spreadout" the force of the puller arms. Wonder how I know that? A new crank pulley for my cub was $50!! The other posts are also great advise as far as how to center the puller. You may also apply some heat to the pulley but be careful. Good luck. FB
