No 1500 gallons is 6 tons. Thats a Lot of weight. Most older wagons were built for aroung 3 ton as thats about all the tires would hold up. I had a 953 John deere wagon that were advertised, "payloads only limited by the size and condition of the tires" Believe me, it ain't so. I was splitting rims, shelling out lug bolts and busting up my wooden flat rack trying to haul 6 bales of hay.
