I would not call this set up rare, but uncommon today and a lot of folks don't know how it worked and that the split rockshaft and over center drop levers (bolted to top of transmission) are all part of the set up. What's happened to these to make them rare or uncommon. Here's my story. 25 years ago, I had a complete setup like this on a Super A. This was common in hilly eastern Tennesse for plowing on hillsides. In fact these were called "hillside" plows as well as two way plows. I used the one I had to plow my garden, but usually only put on one of the plows. Later I bought a 140 and sold the Super A with it's cultivators. The 140 had no rear rockshaft and the rockshaft on the Super A was needed for the cultivators so the split rockshaft went with the Super A and I kept the plows (and also the overcenter lever setup)to use with the 140 (I later got a regular rockshaft for the 140). About 10 years ago, I sold the 140 with the plows. The buyer only used it with the belly mower and later sold the plows to a guy with a Super A. He only wanted one plow and sold the LH one to another person. The overcenter lever set laid in my barn for years and I finally sold in on E bay a couple years ago. So the setup is in at least 4 different places. If I had it now, I would never split it up!!

This would have made me to be about16 years old and I drove the tractor for nothing and would have paid to drive it if I had had any money which I didn't, but neit
