I just brought home a 1947 H and am trying to get it running. I took off the carb and took it apart and found that the float was all gummed up. so I freed it up and made sure that gas was running through it before I put it back together. when I got the carb back on the tractor I tried to start it. I pulled the choke and cranked. when I pushed in the choke and quit cranking a mass amount of gas came out of the air intake end of the carb. what happened, what did I do wrong and how can I fix it. thanks for the info in advance.
