Probably most of them (or at least many of them) in the war years had a keorsene or distillate engine, although most postwar ones were gasoline only. Kerosene and/or distillate engines were produced into the 50's. Don't think there is any record of actual production figures. Actually the M was produced With 4 engines - gasoline, kerosene, distillate, and diesel. The gas, kerosene, and distillate heads were different, with some differences in the carburators.
