Farmall H M seat bushings

I read some time back about someone fixing there seat by going to a auto parts store and buying the seat bushings instead of going to the IH dealer and spending a lot of money on the rubber bushings. I think they said they used shock absorber bushings. If so do you have a part number or what store did they go to? The problem I have is that I do not have the old bushing to take and compare to at the store. The seat wobbles all over the place. I the Ih delaer is my only option then so be it. they need to make money and live too tight! thanks for any help you guys may have. Chad
