I wouldn't worry too much about fenders. I use 1 point fast hitch and have several implements in the 500 lb. range. I have a boom sprayer 60 Imperial gallons. Tractor will pick it with 40 gal . 400lbs + sprayer itself probably 200 lbs. for total of 600 lbs. I do use check chains from rockshaft to cross bar of 1 point. With chains in place I fill the sprayer, 800 lbs. and that weight is all on fenders. That is just about all you can run and keep front end on ground. Until the first 20 gallons is out of sprayer I don't want to see much of a hill.
