It is truly in the eye of the owner, but 2150 would probably be best. If you go to your local IH store (fine, Case IH if you all prefer), depending on the year of your H (post 1945) it will be 2150. Your dealer can tell you for sure which paint to use. I used 2150 in spray cans for my brake covers and clutch pedal on my SM, (since it will be repainted at the end of this month anyway) but i really regret it because they are so shiny they REALLY make the rest of the tractor look like crap, even though it is an older restoration. Many friends and family ask me, "Are those new parts?" I laugh, becuase I wonder if people will ask me, "Is that a new tractor?" when I'm done with it. Good luck on the finishing touches of your H.
