you need to remove the lines. then you can remove the pump there were two types of seals used you wont kmow until you have taken the pump apart. Next and important thing is how is the journal where the seal sets if it is worn you will need as speedy sleeve to get the journal back to size so the new seal can do its job. After putting all together you can prime the pump by removing the slotted screw in the pump and putting fluid in there turn engine over with a crank and refill. This is aeasy way to prime it.
