Good show Murray, I knew what the results would be as per your last post on forum. Only thing I was trying to figure, was where in Cole Harbour could you tow a tractor on a Sat or any day for that matter. You know I can remember standing on Lloyd Eisener's front lawn at 10pm and you could only see 4 lit up farmsteads other than their own. Probably only 40 years ago. The SC would have been positive ground when new, if every thing has been changed to suit I don't believe it will harm anything. You probably need advise better than I on that one. I know the advise on changing to an alternator is go with neg. ground. I have seen generators with neg. ground and I have also seen screw ups. Wouldn't hurt to check out that possibility.
