I use a 12 volt, 10 amp, charger to charge my 6 volt Super A battery. I just use a piece of steel spring as a series resistor, to bring the current down to the capability of the charger, and monitor the state of charge a little more closely. It is the current that charges the battery, the source voltage doesn't matter. Got to use what you have at hand, right.
