chris, If no one is around to help . take a old spark plug and hit the nut with hammer this will break the porcelin out then just put a balloon on it . screw it in number one cylinder and watch it blow up when you crank her. this will be tdc on compression stroke when your pointer is on the 2 digits and the balloon is inflated. learned this here . speed bump
