It might be over kill, but better safe that sorry. I welded some scrap schedule 80, 8" pipe to some 1 ton wheels for a base, they were also scrap. Cut these to the right height and dished the top to fit the axels. Used this same type of a stand to suport the center of the tractor when I want to remove the front bolster. ENJOY YOUR TRACTOR.
