Sure she will... I have a #60 4-16 that I tug along with my M from time to time, 2nd gear, 3rd in light sandy soil... I also have 4 weights per axle hanging out there... I am not short of power just traction due to lack of weight w/ non loaded 15.5 x 38's. My #70 3-16 won't pull the ole girl down in 2nd unless i hit something unmovable, then she'll just spin out... 3rd gear will work her a bit in heavy clay where traction isn't a whole lot of an issue... A stock M probably won't handle the #70 with any sort of tact... but most M's are actually super M to super M+ in power these days... My 1950 M, C248 block w/ 4" firecraters and rocket governor turning C281 RPM's will pull pretty well in the field.
