Richard - If your tractor is equipped with a voltage regulator (not a cutout) punch below for a wiring diagram for your system. Also if you didn't replace the voltage regulator when you installed the rebuilt generator, I highly recommend you do. Regulators have a shorter life than generators - if the old generator had gone bad, chances are the regulator is worn out too.
