The Super C has disk brakes. There are 2 disks on each side that rotate between stationary plates that are pressed against the rotating disks when you apply the brakes. The disks slide on splined shafts that are extensions of the pinion gear shaft that drives the bull gear in the transmission. The brakes are not difficult to take apart and repair. A harder job will be to replace the pinion shaft seals if they happen to be leaking and getting oil on the brakes. If the brake disks need relining, you can take them to your local clutch/brake shop and likely they will reline the disks for you a lot cheaper than you can buy new disks. You can get new disks from case/IH.
