I had a C-60 engine rebuilt at a machine shop that specialized in rebuilds. I figured by the time I bought all the parts and ran around getting things done here and there e.g. valve train done, head machined, crank ground, I would be further ahead to have a shop do it. The cost was about $900 and they backed their work.
