Eric, you can clean them up pretty well and the other guys posts to you were very good also. I would not want to buy a restored tractor with a new plate, because I would wonder why it was replaced. Maybe wrong year or maybe the last serial number or a number that would make it a little more valuable. Just my 2 cents worth, but I would clean it and leave it riveted on.
