I can't give an answer to your question on that machine but will offer up one word of caution. Dad worked at both the CAT and A/C dealerships from the 70's til the mid 80's, and occasionally ran up on a few ex military machines of both brands. In every case he said there was always a problem finding certain parts for them because the military spec machines were different than a similar civilian machine. I never remember hearing him say that the differences were in regard to any specific part, just that there were differences that often made getting parts more difficult than normal. That said if you can get the machine for a good price and it's in good condition then it might be a deal, but there is the chance that if it ever needs work finding parts might not be as easy as it would for a non-military machine.
