Ian, if the lever snaps over center good around 30 lb pull you just need to adjust the clutch brake on the back of the clutch. Just adjust the shoe to go closer to the drum when you have the lever forward all the way. It should be able to stop the drive shaft from turning. If the clutch needs adjusting you need to take the cover off and unlock the spider, turn it towards the clutch plate to tighten and lock it up again. Later Bob
