Craig, have someone experienced in measuring crankshafts, come out & measure your crankpins. Add .0015-.003" to that measurment & have your connecting rods made that size. Beware of an out of round or barrell shaped crankpin, these will allow too much variation in oil clearence, even on the same rod bearing. Taking the crank out is a big job & would likely force you to replace & resize the main bearings, along with the rods. I imagine a reconditioned crankshaft (no rods or mains) would cost $250-$350, maybe more. If the crankpins measure straight & round enough (not more than .0015") variation, that would be the best way to go. That variation factor can enlarge, depending on your expectations as to life & how you use it. Good luck, Bruce
