I have a CaseIH 5140, and I assume it is simaler, You have to push in and hold against the spring, then slip the spring clip into place. Nothing to it if you have THREE hands. Because I do not, I put a piece of board again the PTO shaft end,one end of th board on the draw bar, the other end agin my chest, and push. This leaves both my hands free to fiddle with that darn spring clip. Bruce
