Thought you all might enjoy this. The VAC has been in the family since the early 1950's. So far 4 generations of us have driven it. It has never been restored, just maintained as a "working" tractor. The VAH has been in the family for about 30 years and was abandoned and used for parts. I have restored it completely, with the help of folks I found on this discussion board. Both are rare rigs out here on the Monterey Bay in California. A number of the VAH rigs were used in Brussels Sprouts and sweet corn production and had the modified single front wheel which seemed to have been a dealer modification, as far as I can tell. In the late 1950"s the local Case dealer was killed when a Case dozer he was demonstrating apparently lost transmission oil pressure on a steep slope and rolled over in the Carmel Valley. The brand never re-established well here and was absorbed into the Ford dealership.
