Electric switch. You selected how it steered, front, back, both, crab and then used the steering wheel. Can't remember for sure but I believe it was done with rocker switches. Computer went out on it and it wouldn't steer right. The cab & nose cone style was not like the 1470 the grill was in two sections. 2870 looks right 2470 it is not.
