Ted, back in 1962 when the Farm Progress show was in Blairsburg Iowa, Dad remembered the Case people took an 830 diesel COM, loaded the tires with powdered lead & went to the field demonstration area pulling 6 bottoms. Ironically, 20 years ago here in N central Iowa 4 bottoms would be enough for an 830, now days 3 would probably be enough, you cant tell me this huge equipment now days is'nt compacting the @#$% out of this soil
