Using one "factory" picture, a service manual, or even period advertising literature to refererence proper color combinations is fine and it does prove that SOME were made that way, it does not prove that ALL were made that way. Would you like so see some more "factory" pictures of early Bs with orange rear rims? How 'bout silver? How 'bout an early B with black pinstripes on the front wheels? A person can paint the rear rims on a B, (or any other Allis model from that time period for that matter) orange, silver or black and factory photos can be found that prove his color combination to be correct. There also seems to have been some that were shipped out with green rims. Have no documentation but have heard it from too many oldtimers who were there to dispute their claims. I dont think Allis cared near as much about how correct their tractors were as we do.
