After further thought, I don"t see how it could work on an F. The F has hyd valves controlled by a mechanical linkage to the levers in the cab, and the robot is controlled with a mechanical cable between the hdr and the robot by the window, which ties into the hyd system. The 2 and 3 Series have electric/hyd valves, controlled by electrical switches. That"s what the harness is used for. Electric raise/lower switch is on the hdr, sends signal through the module to the electric solenoid on the hyd valve.
You could physically attach a flex head to an F, and control it by hand with the lever in the cab. Then you"d have the right head if/when you find an F3.
On my M2, updating it to a 3 Series was very serial number specific in regard to module and harness parts numbers.

Although he himself has never actually owned or restored a tractor, he was always enthusiastic and always around helping with other peoples projects.
