I use an All-Crop 60 for beans, settings should be similar. I run the cylinder speed down around 600 rpm or less, clearance at 3/8", all 8 cylinder bars, both concaves. Vary the speed a bit to prevent cracking the beans, although I have never been docked for them. Watch your reel height to prevent shelling ahead of the cutter bar and get an even feed onto the canvas. Especially when dry beans are easy to shell so you don't need a lot of cylinder speed. If they are a bit weedy you will need need more speed and maybe take less than a full swath to keep from plugging. Little old Allis doesn't like the green stuff!! I run the air about 1/2 open, look at your fodder to see if you are getting all of the beans separated. Hydraulics on the header helps you keep down low, but you can't get as low as the new machines so don't even try. Accept some loss with a 60 year old machine. My beans are usually as clean or cleaner than anyone else's so good luck with it. Hope this helps you.
