Thursday, Friday and Saturday I accompanied my D.A.R Regent wife to the Missouri state convention. I am so impressed by the work and dedication to patriotism shown by this organization. Many college scholorships are sponsored and were awarded. Special entertainment at the bandquet was a real treat, a concert by The 399th United States Army Band from Fort Leonard Wood. Sunday my wife, son and daughter in law attended a concert at the Fox theater in St. Louis by The Celtic Woman, absolutely fabulous! Then my son treated us to an early Mother's Day at The Red Lobster. Arrived home and it's all over the news that bin Laden has been taken care of!
