Thursday, Friday and Saturday I accompanied my D.A.R Regent wife to the Missouri state convention. I am so impressed by the work and dedication to patriotism shown by this organization. Many college scholorships are sponsored and were awarded. Special entertainment at the bandquet was a real treat, a concert by The 399th United States Army Band from Fort Leonard Wood.
Sunday my wife, son and daughter in law attended a concert at the Fox theater in St. Louis by The Celtic Woman, absolutely fabulous! Then my son treated us to an early Mother's Day at The Red Lobster. Arrived home and it's all over the news that bin Laden has been taken care of!
 
YES, gotta love that dedication and patriotism, good post. Thanks and Congratulations to the US Navy Seals and all the troops for a job well done and God Bless the USA and all Veterans, Ive posted that twice but it keeps getting deleted? That kind of talk must offend someone, cant imagine why

Do the new members still have to be appointed by a parent/ relative? And show the bloodline to the revolution? My aunt 'didn't feel like' nominating her grandaughter, my cousin, the old lady died suddenly... I guess that is the end of the line... or was that way in the 80's....
 
Might offend the Site Policy.Why don"t you propose to the operators that they have a dedicated site for flag waving.
