I also have a high reading. This is serious stuff. Radon can lead to cancer problems. I'm having a "radon mitigator" coming to my house. Call your county health department for info. The gas is odorless and you can't see it, it is in the soil in some areas; comes up thru an opening in your basement. LA in WI
