One of our sons lived in Oceanside (We live in Oakdale, jusr east of Modesto) and they took us to the wild animal park once. Incredible!! What I remember most though was one of the larakeet's cr*pping on my head. For those that don't know, a larakeet is like a small parrot and you can feed them this nectar they have there. They're very tame and love to perch on you while you feed them the juice. If ya'll ever make it to SoCal, don't miss the park and also the San Diego Zoo.
