Good for you Chief. I was raised on a tobacco farm in North Carolina by seperated parents and Grandparents. My Grandfather was a huge influence in my life as were my mother and father... but they all were workaholics as they had to be to have us all survive. I spent much of my time with grandpa riding in his lap on the tractor or what other work was being done because that was the only time with him. I was trucking tobacco by myself at 7. I lost grandpa when I was 14 and the family farm was sold by his kids, excluding my mom, so there went the dream of me being a farmer. I now own my own HVAC buisness but I too am a workaholic who did not spent the time I should have with my three kids to aquire the nice home, cars, allow my wife to be a stay at home mom and put the kids through college. Now at 50 I missed alot but look forward to time for the grandkids when they come. Workaholic is not the worst label to have but all that it causes you to miss can produce a time for you to reposses and administer it to the next generation. They will love you just as much and remember you forever just as I do my grandpa. Good for you Granddad Chief, a day well spent!

But, on the other hand, there is a secret language that our mechanical companions readily do speak. It is an interesting form of communication that involves all the senses of the listener. In this series we are going to investigate and learn the basic rudimentary skills of understanding this lingo.
