Conduit was run between the posts, and cast into the cement..... someday we may add a remote opener. Had to trench between them for it. Also one was run to the outside, where power will be brought in. Have power about 300' away, figured I would use it rather than solar.
There is a jack with a 2x4 in the center, holding the gates until the concrete sets. The picture was taken about 2 hours after we completed the concrete work. Gates are heavy, of course trying to pull the posts in, was afraid my staking and clamping would not hold up, jack keeps them level.
