I took time off Sunday to finally wet a hook after almost 3 years. I had forgotten how much the family enjoys this and I think I'll have to make time for this through out the summer from here on out.
Everyone got a few crappie along with a couple worthy of the frying pan.
As the day grew into mid-day it got a little warmer. Thus we ended up in the water with the fish.
Here's my better half showing off her first fish of her life. She's been fishing before but never actually wet a hook for herself. Had I known!
In between helping get lines out of trees, snags in the water, fish off hooks and knots tied, I was happy just to spectate.
