First tractor I ever worked on waas Dad's 1948 Allis B. I did a valve job and replaced the clutch while I was still in high school. Dad finally decided he wouldn't need it any more at age 94, and Igave it it's first full over haul in 1997. I still own it and it still has the same clutch I put in it in 1958. Forst tractor I ever owned is a 1940 John Deere H that I bought in 1973. I completely overhauled it and used it until 1999 when I restored it. It was shown at EXPO 11 in 2001 in Berrien Springs, MI. Nothing like waliking into the barn and looking at these tractors that have been with me so long.
