I think it may work on electricity, It works for me. Question... how do you people for whom it works tell how deep the water is??
I practice on places I know where a power cable or water pipe is. Stand where you think the water is after establishing its direction. hold the wire[L shape] and walk off at 90 degrees. the wire turns back towards you. the distance travelled is the depth of the water. certainly works. the water pipe is 12'' deep, elect cable is 2'deep. The wire turns back to me at these distances. Tried it out on a 100' bore..sure enough it turned back at 100'.. Don't ask me why..
