worked for the town a while ago...one of the guys on the clean up crew was a real firm believer in the whole thing...during lunch break one day, after we had been talking about it...he went into the woods and grabbed a y-shaped stick, showed me how to hold it and told me to walk...after about 12 steps the sticked pointed at the ground...hard!...i couldn't twist it up...seemed like some odd forces working there...
when we were working on the house a friend who was helping us tape was asking about the well and we said he had to drill one and got on the subject of dowsing...he ran into the barn and grabbed 2 welding rods, bent them and as we walked when you hit a certain spot they would turn towards each other...i tried it, my dad tried it, he tried it...it seemed to all cross in teh same spot...a couple of true doubters also tried...sister's ex boyfriend and others...still worked for them... drilled where it seemed to be strongest...hit a good stream of water...
don't know how it works...don't know why...but it seems to...
