I agree with those who say it"s probably a fusible link. On that truck, most of them are under that black cover on the firewall, not at the battery or the starter. First, check to see if all the nuts on the studs of the bus bar are good and tight. Then pull on the wires, one by one, to see if you have a burned fuse link. Be sure to replace a burned fusible link with the correct type of wire. The length of the fusible link matters, so make it the same length as the one you replace. Also, check your wiring harness for chafing or damaged insulation, especially around sharp brackets and such. Good Luck and God Bless
