If you think you can "make money" with them, you'll loose interest quick. Main thing is that you enjoy the dogs. I was looking for an English Sheperd with no luck when I saw an ad for australian sheperds. Didn't know what they were so googled and found them to be about the same dog. Went and picked my old girl out when she was 2 weeks old. Picked her up at 10 weeks and was like Abe Lincoln (I did what????).. She looked (and still does) like she had been shot at and missed and sh!t at and hit. Took her anyway, and she was MY DOG. Several pair of shoes on the porch and she would only take/chew up mine. Go for a walk with her, the wife, and a couple other dogs and she won't be more than 3ft away from me. No other dogs (than our own) can come close to me and she is worse than my wife about wanting to know where I am and why she can't be with me. She's completely worthless and comes from a long line of butt sniffers. Pops out 8 babies in a litter once a year or so and is the best mom you ever saw. Puppies are all like her if you leave them alone, but people can ruin animals quick. They don't get any training from me other than "NO" or "Good girl/boy" and are the perfect dog. Happy to run 10 miles with you or lay on the couch and watch TV with the same enthusiasm. Left my old girl to herself one day with 6 or 7 horses on a pasture. She worried herself to death. Came back about an hour later and she was laying in the middle of the group and had "sorted" them by colors (??) to how she thought they should be and was happy. Gonna be a sad day when she goes........
