7or 8 years ago an old guy here rolled over 1 million KM (600k miles) on his VW Golf that he bought new. Dealer he bought it from offered him a brand new Golf for just about nothing or to redo his existing vehicle. He chose the makeover. Not long later someone rearended him at a stop light and wiped it out.
When I was a kid, there was an old guy that would get dodge darts with the slant 6 motors and work them over/sell them reasonable. Claimed that some of them had 300+k miles on them??????
