I hated to see it, but it's my daily driver.

My car should be turning the big 100000 tomorrow or the next day. Wife's later this year.

Another 5,000 miles and I gotta bring it in for a timing belt.

Mine hit 100000 at the beginning of last year. The end of last year I took it in and had new plugs filters and tranny flushed. Good thing to do at the hundred thousand mark

Seems that not to long ago if a vehicle hit 100,000 miles it was junk. With modern oils and regular service you have a lot more miles left.

My wifes daily driver has 122,000. Mine has 134,000 and I just parked one with 198,000 (body rusted out). All Jeeps.

I also have a 99 dodge ram pickup with only 18,000 miles so that ought to last a while.

100,000.......I laugh at that!

Seriously, hope you get as good of service as I've gotten out of "Ole Blue", my 95 Chevy extended cab 4x4. Bought new in 95 with 62 miles. First and LAST time I bought a new one. Mark

JEEP.... I have a 99 Jeep inline 6 that now has 190,000 on it. Runs great and still uses little to know oil. Use it everyday and the 4x4 has given no problems either. Used a lot this winter. :)

Yup. Jeep. Straight 6 just turned 247,000 this morning. Little wrist pin noise, but that"s been going on for the last 50k. Hoping to get to at least 300K before I have to tear her down.
It"s the little box Cherokee and besides the fact a new car"s not in the budget, I don"t see anything new or newer it"s size and capability that has that kind of room behind the rear seat. Thinking about finding another one with lower miles for when this one finally gives it all up.

My 05 Chevy has right around 140K.. took possession with 7 miles on it

My 86 Ford I bought showing right around 90k, it shows 20k now.. so at least 120k

The 05 Ford that is my company-issued mode of transportation has 120K; had around 100k when I took possession about 1 year ago.

And the 2009 JD 9430 I run every working day that the Michigan climate permits has 1800 hours.. (had about 800 the first time I ran it just more than a year ago)

We won't get into the snowmobile, personal tractors, etc LOL

I spend waaaaay too much time in a seat!

Brad

goes to show they dont build them like they used to,... their built a heck of a lot better.

225,000 miles on my '01 Focus, still low 30's mpg, still doesn't use any oil, and that's running 13000 between oil changes with Mobil 1.

The car's not worth anything to anybody but me, gonna see how long she'll last.

Fred

You're just getting started. Wish I had one that low. My pickemup is the lowest one I have at 169,000. The Jeep is 228,000. The better half's car is 246,000 & my daily driver is 280,000.

7or 8 years ago an old guy here rolled over 1 million KM (600k miles) on his VW Golf that he bought new. Dealer he bought it from offered him a brand new Golf for just about nothing or to redo his existing vehicle. He chose the makeover. Not long later someone rearended him at a stop light and wiped it out.

When I was a kid, there was an old guy that would get dodge darts with the slant 6 motors and work them over/sell them reasonable. Claimed that some of them had 300+k miles on them??????

97 F350 srw, 7.3 diesel, 142,000+. Had 98000 on it when I bought it just under 2 yrs ago. Runs great, gets 20 mpg on the hwy. I take real good care of that 7.3 diesel engine.

My brother is on his way in to work driving his '93 GMC k2500. 360,000 on the original 5.7, with only a few gaskets, starters, alternators, water pumps, and exhaust systems. Never been inside the engine and still not using any oil. He attributes it to regular oil changes with nothing but AC Delco filters and Shell Rotella T 15w40. Well, that and it IS a GM product!

I have no way of knowing how many miles my '89 Chevy X cab, long box 4X4 has on it.

I bought it on an auction and the odometer showed 259,000. When I drove it home, I found the odometer was stuck on 259,000, not uncommon on those models.

But, it's perfectly healthy and does what I want it to, so what the heck.

You're just getting into my territory, now- I've got a champagne appetite on a beer income, my dad said- I like luxury cars, but not about to shell out 30 or 40 K for a new one- so I buy nice 100k cars and run them to about 225, then look for another one. Just got a '98 Buick Park Avenue, 109k miles, for $2,500, to replace the '95 Lincoln Continental that just turned 216k. Paid 4k for Mr. Lincoln 6 years ago, will probably get 1,800 for it. That's $30 per month "cost of ownership"- can't beat that with a stick!

I thought I had the lowest milage on a 07HD 2500 Chev. with 28,000. At 12 miles to the gallon running emty I won't drive it unless I'm hooked to something or got a load on the back. I have 169,000 though on my 98 saturn which I plan on driving beyond the 200,000 mark.

Some years back, i bought a used '91 Ranger, with 125,000 miles on it, for $500. Drove it for 5 years, and sold it for $300. Bought a wrecked '97 Ranger and fixed it. Still using it.
I met the man who had sold me the 91 Ranger. He asked if i was still using it. I told him i had sold it, for $300! He about fell off his bar stool! When i told him how many more miles i had put on it--he was flabbergasted!

1995 Dodge Diesel, 590,000 miles on motor and body, 400,000 on transmission. Oil changed every 5,000 with mobil 1 5w-40 synthetic.

That's it? 100K? That's it? Man, that thing's still in diapers.

Well, put 400K of more safe and enjoyable driving on her and then show us a picture of that.

Good luck.

Mark

Still driving this 95 dodge ram 2500 PU. Original engine, three transmission rebuilds. 1,076,000 miles now.

My '06 Chevy 2500 just passed 463,000, drive train all original, including auto trans with original fluid, still never been in a shop. Half those miles towing, the other half always hauling. 1 water pump, (at 400,000), 1 alternator, (425,00), 2 wheel bearings/hubs, (300,000 and 400,000), spark plugs at 200,000, third set going in today. Other than that, all original. My Chevy is flat-out bulletproof. I'll pass a half million in late May, June.

Will be paid off in November. Am I upside down?

Some say Lucas is snake oil, but I've kept it in my oil, tranny, rear end, and fuel, and I've got to think it's made a difference. I wonder if the Lucas fuel additive helps keep the fuel pump lubricated?

Sold a Toyota Camery with 326,000 on it . Bought a 2001 Toyota mini van and just turned it over to 300,000. Not bad for a couple of 4 bangers.
