Well there's a good reason much old iron is going to scrap.Collectors are cheapskates.Example I had a pickup the scrapyard said they'd give me $450 for,could have been fixed up without too much effort.So I advertised it and stated in the ad that the scrappers had offered $450 so I'd take bids starting at $450.Got a bunch of low ball offers and a few beggers that wanted me to practically give them the truck so they could 'preserve' it.Got tired of listening to their BS and hauled it to the crusher.The same afternoon a guy comes by and flashes 3 $100 bills and says I bet this buys the old truck I flashed the $450 and said nope but this did.Got a couple old tractor skeltons not going to hassel with advertsing them.
