Nothing works "good" when it is full of pocket gopher mounds. I have plowed mine, then disked, then field cultivated it 5 or 6 times to get it leveled out. I wanted to get it smooth since I plan on seeding alfalfa this year. (plowed up and planted corn last year)
My back and hemrroids will never be the same.....LOL
A friend of mine says a heavy offset disk works good as well.
