The Case plow is a model 400, if I remember right. It can be adjusted manually to either a 16" or 18" cut. It was their first attempt at a high clearance plow and it could plow a bale of hay under but they didn't change the trips from the lower clearance one so the tension was real hard to set right. Either they tripped too light or they didn't trip at all and the bottom was ripped off on a rock. The factory came out with a hydraulic trip conversion program for I believe $200 per bottom, if my memory serves me right. That worked OK and was trouble-free for me. Should be of mid-70's vintage. Did a good job of plowing but pulled a little hard. The moldboards never did shine as much as a Deere moldboard. It's hard to believe the new implements that were cutting edge technology when I started farming are mere scrap iron today.Jim
