Any recomendation on all electric package units. Prices vary a lot. I've been looking at Goodman, Tempstar, Heil, Rheem, York/Luxaire, and Carrier. 3 ton unit, Goodman starts at about $2200, Rheem is about $2700, Tempstar/Heil is about $2900, York is about $3500, and the Carrier is $4900. Everything is online price with only the sellers warranty except for the Tempstar/Heil and thats a local contractors unit price, add another 6 or 7 hundred for is installation to get the full warranty. Other local contractors want over $5500 for a Goodman unit. This is just a change out. Any one brand better than another??
