A 12 volt pump to run a 3 pt. maybe but a loader, forget it. 12 volt pumps are basically just a starter motor driving a pump and are much less GPM than an engine driven pump. Every owners manual I've ever read says not to crank the engine over for than 30 seconds and then let the starter cool off. A loader would also require a larg enough reservoir. Do you really want to spend half an hour waiting everytime you use the loader for 30 seconds? A power steering pump may work for a 3 pt. as well but any belt driven pump under a heavy load would have a tendency to slip. Dave
