thanks to all the feedback. We typically use a layer newspaper and a lot of hay for mulching and like was mentioned makes great cover for the bad bugs as well. We also incorporate various plantings to draw in the good bugs. Last year was so wet we oten could not get in to garden and the weeds took over. You know how quickly they can get away from you. So the green manure/cover crop was just thinking. Thanks I am going to stay away from that idea!
